Veganz is a fully organic Vegan grocery store complete with a little bistro where one could get wraps, sandwiches, bagels salads, coffee/ tea, and slices of cake among other treats from the desserts bar! Quick, healthy, affordable eats for sure. 🙂

Up for purchase was the “Ali Baba” Wrap which included red beets and falafels, “Little Italy” which had tomatoes, colourful peppers, artichoke/ brussels sprout pieces and mushrooms too I think and finally the “Mexican Burrito” which had a generous serving of rice, red kidney beans, lettuce, corn and tomatoes among other things. I settled for the “Mexican Burrito” because it looked and sounded pretty darn good to me.

The Bowl is located right above Veganz, so that makes for a very easy grocery-cum-dining experience for any Vegan! Not only that, there’s a Vegan shoe shop right beside The Bowl! Heaven! For those who want to have an early meal here, they do serve chia puddings, hearty oatmeals, and smoothies among other breakfast fixes. My parents and I came here for dinner, so we settled for savoury options: I had the Falafel Bowl, Mum had the Mexican Bowl and Dad had the Italian Bowl. Yum, yum and more yummmm!!

It was full-house that evening/ night and it was already close to 9pm when Mum, Dad and I reached the restaurant (we arrived in Berlin pretty late after a road trip to Solzow that day). To still be filled to capacity at such an hour speaks for itself: the food here is good. We ended up waiting for about 25 minutes in the queue, and probably another 20 before we got our food but it definitely was worth the wait.
